First Boot

Log in as root and complete the initial configuration. This will first thoroughly check your network connectivity and then complete the installation by executing the remaining configuration steps as detailed below. During the package update process you might be asked whether to keep locally modified configuration files. In this case always choose the option keep the local version currently installed.

The set-up will guide you through a number of steps to set up your cluster including hostnames, chroot, slurm and ssh.

At the end of the process reboot the cluster once more to complete set-up.
