What is Open Stack

Open Stack is a free and open source platform used a a basis for a cloud. It consists of a number of projects that a interrelated and together allow the provisioning of IaaS resources.

Open Stack Components

  • Horizon: The Web Based GUI Dashboard
  • Keystone: Authentication and Authorization
  • Nova: Scheduling and launching CMs
