=== The Trusted Pool ===

Storage in RHSS is based on volumes. Each peer server contains a volume, and these are put together into a trusted pool by the master server. The master server is usually identified as the server from which the command are run. Peers are added to the trusted pool through probing

=== The Namespace ===

A brick is defined to be a block storage device managed by RHSS. The aggregation of the storage bricks in the trusted pool makes up a GlusterFS storage volume, which is presented to all peers as a single namespace.

The Gluster Console Manager is the name given to the Gluster configuration and management. The tool writes the need configuration files used to start the daemon. All commands are run using the gluster command
