Assumes:
- Centos 62 with OFED libs already installed
- Development tools installed
Pull down the SRC RPM
wget http://www.open-mpi.org/software/ompi/v1.6/downloads/openmpi-1.6.4-1.src.rpmBuild
rpmbuild --rebuild --define '_prefix /shared/apps/openmpi/1.6.4-gcc' \
--define '_localstatedir /shared/apps/openmpi/1.6.4-gcc/var' \
--define '_sharedstatedir /shared/apps/openmpi/1.6.4-gcc/var/lib' \
--define '_mandir /shared/apps/openmpi/1.6.4-gcc/share/man' \
--define '_infodir /shared/apps/openmpi/1.6.4-gcc/share/info' openmpi-1.6.4-1.src.rpmInstall
- File will be created in ~/rpmbuild/RPM/x86_64
- Add to cluster provisioning or rpm -ivh
