Samba Ports and the Firewall
Samba uses four ports for communication:
| 137/UDP | NetBIOS name service |
| 138/UDP | NetBIOS datagram service |
| 139/TCP | NetBIOS session Service |
| 445/TCP | Microsoft Directory Services |
Samba and SELinux
Samba SELinux File Types
There is only one type associated with Samba: samba_share_t. This is applied to directories and files to be shared over Samba.
