Hedvig Distributed Storage

The Hedvig provides a single unified storage that lets network storage, file storage(Swift), Block storage system built with low-cost commodity hardware to support any application, hypervisor, container, or cloud.

Scale-able storage with feature like duplication , flexible block size , replication for all three types of storage (network storage, file storage , Block storage).

Provide Hybrid Multisite Replication with datacenter aware or rack aware replication polices.

Use cases

Server virtualization (block level , lun access) Cold backup (NFS without dedup) Traditional VDI storage (nfs based storage/ file based) Openstack storage (nfs,block based by cinder, file based via swift)
