Allinea: Start Licence Server

Alinnea Licences

1. Download Allinea Forge and Allinea Licence Server from http://www.allinea.com/products/downloads/download-allinea-ddt-and-allinea-map
2. Run the installers and note the installation directory

   /cm/local/allinea for Allinea Forge

   /cm/local/allinea/licenceserver for Allinea Licence Server

• Allinea will provide one licence file. If it has no name, it should be named Licence.<serial number>.
• This file is the server licence file and should be placed in /cm/local/allinea/licenceserver/licences
• Create another file named Licence and place it in /cm/local/allinea.

This file should have the following format

type=2
serial_number=8502    #info from the initial Licence.<serial> file
hostname=head-Boston
serverport=4241

• Run the licenceserver pointing to its licences directory:

/cm/local/allinea/licenceserver/bin/licenceserver /cm/local/allinea/licenceserver/licences/ &

Start the licence server

1. Edit the Licence file to use the correct details
2. /install-folder/bin/licence-server
3. open port 4241 in the firewall

Check the licence service is running

point a browser at the server using port 4241
