Samba Networks

workgroup = MYGROUP
server string = Samba Server Version %v
; netbios name = MYSERVER
; interfaces = lo eth0 192.168.12.2/24 192.168.13.2/24
; hosts allow = 127. 193.168.12. 192.168.13.
  • workgroup - the name of the workgroup or domain
  • server string - the comment shown with te NetBIOS name
  • netbios name - The Name shown in the network browse lists, limted to 15 characters
  • interfaces - the networks used by Samba
  • hosts allow / deny - allow or deny connections from systems
