Boston HPC
- Can we get newer intel compilers – dp to download and send through, v14 on the cluster so not too old
- Can we get cuda6 beta to test out? - dp to sort
- Documentation is being updated on the wiki as systems are available to check serials.
- I’ll update all of our cluster to 6.5 over the next week or so (as nodes are free)
- Currently almost all of our nodes are still running sandy bridge CPUs – most of the v2s we have at the moment are from stock. The Lab doesn’t *have any more pairs of samples I can use. - dp to request samples from manoj
- X10 system has the new version of v3 CPUs – you need to be root to get into the system
EPCC
- Really need newer intel compilers – dp sorted as above
- PGI OpenAcc compiler – can we get hold of them – dp to ask nvidia
- Slowly gathering hardware at the moment – I’m planning on moving all the nodes across towards the beginning on may.
- We need to arrange training day. - mike to sort
- I’m going to arrange a time to go through everything, and do training on IB.
- They haven’t done much for the past couple of weeks as it exam / coursework deadline time.
Redhat Viridis issue 1 (cards)
- Brendan is going to update their firmware
- I’m testing two replacement cards at the moment
Redhat Viridis issue 2 (disks)
- I’ve asked Kevin to update the firmware and swap the disks
- Will chase on Monday if we don’t get an update
IB switch
- Is back from Germany – will put it back on Monday
- Did we send the cards out to them - they haven’t back but they are on the SOR – yes I believe so, check the SOR form? Dp Goetz check
Blogs
- K40, k10 and A15 are up and waiting to be checked – DP to review tonight
- I’ll add more results to them.
Bath
- I can’t get into NVidias cluster at the moment – the VPN isn’t working on boston laptops at the moment. - DP to try out tonight
OGML
- All nodes are updated other than head2 / Storage1 (see my earlier email)
India HFT systems
- These are on their way out to india
- Roshan is going to install them with Realtime RHEL
Arm / Viridis 64
